BREEDING SPACE

Breeding Space, under the visionary leadership of Director Maria Mallo, represents a paradigm shift in architecture. Embracing the concept of "breeding architecture," the project pioneers the use of biomaterials, specifically mycelium, integrated with complex computational design. This innovative approach not only addresses the pressing need for sustainability but also redefines the very essence of architectural creation.

Breeding Space stands as a testament to the power of collaboration between nature and technology. Directed by Maria Mallo, the project is constructed entirely with mycelium, reinforced with steel structures meticulously designed by Computational Designer Nacho Monereo. The intricate fusion of biomaterials and computational design techniques results in a structure that not only serves its purpose but also challenges traditional notions of architecture.

At the heart of Breeding Space lies a complex computational design process, intricately woven with the organic growth of mycelium.
